These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of pop-paw.com and your purchase of PopPaw products and services, including custom pet art phone cases, phone grips, and digital artwork (together, the "Products"). By placing an order or using the site, you agree to these Terms.
1) About PopPaw
PopPaw designs and produces custom pet art merchandise. We turn a photo of your pet into stylised artwork using AI-assisted image generation and apply it to phone cases, grips, and downloadable digital artwork.
PopPaw is operated by Everlou Ltd. ("PopPaw", "we", "us", "our"). References to "you" mean the person placing an order or using the site.
2) Eligibility & Orders
You must be able to enter into a legally binding contract in your country of residence to place an order.
Your order is accepted once you receive an order confirmation from us (email or on-site confirmation). We may decline or cancel an order if information is missing, payment fails, the pet photo cannot be processed, or we suspect fraud or misuse.
3) AI-Assisted Image Generation
PopPaw uses third-party AI image generation services (currently OpenAI, with OpenRouter as a fallback) to transform your pet photo into a stylised preview. The AI is guided by your chosen style template plus your uploaded photo.
AI outputs are creative interpretations, not exact reproductions. Features such as pose, fur pattern, facial markings, colour, and background may vary from the source photo. Each preview is unique — the same photo and style can produce different results.
You review and approve the preview before ordering a physical or digital product. Your approval is your acceptance that the preview reflects the artistic output you want printed or delivered.
We reserve the right to decline orders where the generated output contains content we deem unsafe, infringing, offensive, or otherwise unsuitable.
4) Photos, Content, Licence & Acceptable Use
To produce your PopPaw, you upload one or more photos of your pet ("Customer Content"). By uploading Customer Content you confirm that:
You grant PopPaw a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, transmit, and pass the Customer Content to our AI generation providers solely to create your previews and fulfil your order, to run quality control, and to provide customer support.
We will only use Customer Content or generated outputs for marketing (for example, on social media or our website) where you have separately consented, or where we have anonymised the content so that your pet and personal details are not identifiable. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time by emailing team@pop-paw.com.
You must not upload photos of other people without their consent, photos containing illegal, offensive, hateful, sexual, or violent content, or photos you do not have rights to use. We may refuse or remove any content that violates these Terms.
- You own the photo, or you have the rights and permissions needed to use it;
- The photo does not infringe anyone else’s copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights;
- Any identifiable people in the photo have consented to its use for creating your PopPaw order.
5) Custom, Made-to-Order & Digital Nature of Products
Phone cases and grips are made-to-order once you place the order and confirm the preview. Production begins after payment clears and your design is confirmed.
Printed products are produced individually and may show minor variations in colour, alignment, and finish that are normal for custom print-on-demand manufacturing. Screens also display colour differently to printed material.
Digital artwork is delivered as files (for example, high-resolution images) downloadable after checkout. Digital artwork is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not resell, sublicense, or publicly redistribute the files.
6) Text Customisation (Post-Order Editor)
After placing an order for a phone case, we email you a secure, time-limited link to our online text editor so you can add optional custom text (for example, your pet’s name) to your artwork. The link is authenticated with a signed token; please do not share it with third parties.
You have 2 hours from order confirmation to submit your text customisation. If we do not receive your customisation in that window, we will ship the case with the artwork as previewed, with no custom text.
Text customisation is a one-shot save. Once you confirm and submit your text in the editor, it cannot be edited, replaced, or cancelled.
You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of any text you submit. We may refuse to print text we consider illegal, infringing, hateful, or otherwise unsuitable.
7) Pricing, Currency, Taxes & Fees
Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout. We may change prices, promotions, and shipping thresholds at any time; the price at the moment you place an order is the price that applies.
Depending on your country, VAT, GST, sales tax, duties, customs clearance, or carrier handling fees may apply. Where these are not collected at checkout, your carrier or customs authority may collect them on delivery. You are responsible for any such import charges unless we explicitly state otherwise.
Promotions, bundle discounts (for example the PopPaw Set post-purchase discount for the second case), and free shipping offers may have exclusions and may change at any time.
8) Payment
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, processed by Shopify Payments and its partners. Payment must clear before production begins.
9) Production, Shipping & Delivery
Physical products are produced after you confirm the preview and payment clears. Typical production time is around 7 days; during busy periods it may take a little longer.
International shipping is handled via YunExpress and their partner carriers. Typical shipping time after dispatch is around 5–10 days depending on destination, so most orders arrive within approximately 12–17 days of being placed. Shipping times vary by destination, carrier capacity, weather, customs, and local delivery conditions, and are estimates rather than guarantees.
Risk of loss transfers to you on delivery to the address you provided, subject to your local consumer law. You are responsible for providing a correct and complete delivery address. Re-shipping due to an incorrect address, refusal, failed delivery, or unpaid customs charges may incur additional fees, and any return-shipping or customs costs charged to us may be deducted from any refund.

Digital artwork is delivered electronically and does not ship physically.
10) Changes, Cancellations & Non-Refundable Custom Work
Because phone cases and grips are made-to-order using your custom artwork, they are non-refundable once production has started.
Digital artwork is non-refundable once the files have been generated or delivered, as they are personalised digital goods made to your specification. By placing a digital artwork order, you expressly consent to immediate performance and waive any right of withdrawal available for digital content to the extent permitted by law.
If you need to change or cancel, contact team@pop-paw.com immediately. If production has not started, we may be able to accommodate changes; fees may apply for design work already performed.
If you submit incorrect customisation text or confirm an incorrect preview and production has started, we cannot guarantee changes and may treat any replacement as a new order.
11) Returns, Defects & Transit Damage
Because Products are customised, we do not accept returns for reasons such as change of mind, altered preference, or minor variations normal for custom manufacturing.
If your item arrives damaged or with a verified production defect, email team@pop-paw.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the item and its packaging.
At our discretion, we will offer a replacement or a full or partial refund depending on the issue and the evidence available. Keep the original packaging until the claim is resolved.
12) Intellectual Property
The PopPaw site, brand, style templates, software, and site content are owned by or licensed to PopPaw and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of that material to you.
Customer Content (your uploaded photos) remains yours. Generated artwork based on your Customer Content is made available to you for personal, non-commercial use together with the Product you purchase.
13) Warranty Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Products and the site are provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that AI-generated previews will match your expectations, that the site will be uninterrupted, or that it will be free from errors.
PopPaw is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising out of or relating to your use of the site or Products.
Our total aggregate liability to you in connection with any order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable consumer law.
14) Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
15) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the version published on our site at the time you place the order. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
16) Governing Law
Unless your local consumer law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Everlou Ltd. is established (to be pinned before first App Store release), and disputes will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction.
